Mail Configuration Setup

To view the basic steps to setup Alt go to Module Setup page.

To do default setup of Mail Configuration, perform the following steps:

Basic Requirement

1. Email ID--- helpdesk@demoindia.com

2. Password--- hello@123

3. Display Name--- Helpdesk

4. POP3 / IMAP Server / Port---129.159.16.123 /110

5. SMTP Server / Port----129.159.16.123 /25

Note: -

1) If the above id is Exchange ID/Lotus ID, then there is need for enabling POP3/SMTP services for this id.

2) We may use the above ID for mass mailing in case a common message needs to be circulated to all employees

Additional Requirements

We need to white list all the IPs, gateways and domains which participate in end to end mail communication. These IPs, gateways and domains are as follows:-

1. 103.8.125.84 – IP of our HRSSC Application Server that works as an interface for Employees who interact with helpdesk application at Error! Hyperlink reference not valid. Auto notification mails are sent from our HRSSC server to Employees for actions like change password, reset password etc.

2. peoplestrong.com - Our Web domain---------- White listed @ gateway level
